Life Church is committed to facilitating true spiritual growth by creating a culture of building community and empowering leaders to use the passions and skills that God has given us. We believe that our Small Groups offer such an opportunity. Through our Small Groups, spiritual growth and discipleship take place and leaders are empowered to use the gifts which God has blessed them.

When you join a Small Group, you’ll have:

• The opportunity to connect with others via the chosen topic or demographic
• The opportunity to apply Biblical principles and topics to your life

Spending time in the word daily is an important value we teach at Life Church. To help everyone reach this goal we are joining a campaign called "40 Days in the Word." 40 Days in the word is a church wide weekly study of six principles of the Word of God.   Together we will explore the authenticity, reliability, power, comfort, interpretation and doing of God’s Word. This six week journey will encourage spiritual growth to all its participants.   The 40 Days in the Word  teaching series will begin on January 22, 2012 and run for six weeks.

In addition to this teaching being a focus for six weekends, we are encouraging everyone to join a small group for 40 Days and explore the six basic principles in greater detail.  Small group meetings will begin the week of January 22nd and run through late February, depending on when each group completes their 6th meeting.   Signing up for a groups is easy and will begin on January 15th during the Sunday morning service. We will also have sign up available online after the 15th.   We encourage everyone to make the 6 week commitment to grow in our understanding and application of the Word of God in our lives.
